What do I need to begin teletherapy?

Before you begin Teletherapy, be sure you have access to:

  1. A fully functioning computer with a webcam, speakers/headset, and microphone.
  2. A reliable updated Internet connection.
  3. A quiet, distraction-free area where you feel comfortable to talk freely.

Does teletherapy include telephone sessions?

Yes. Telephone sessions are available based on client preference.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. Please contact my office for in-network insurance information. By accepting most insurance, my practice offers you greater accessibility for your mental healthcare.

What are your private pay fees?

My fee for a 50-minute individual session is $200. I do have limited availability for clients seeking a sliding scale based on financial need or individual case. Please contact my office for further information.

What are the advantages of private pay?

Private pay places no restrictions on your care. I can provide you sessions of varying lengths, frequency and ease of scheduling. This allows my clients access to mental healthcare based solely on their needs.

Do you offer late evening appointments?

Yes. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays my Teletherapy practice is open from 8pm to Midnight to accommodate both adult and teen clients with demanding schedules. My late evening private pay fee for a 50-minute individual session is $275. Please contact my office to learn more.

What is your cancellation policy?

Clients must notify my office of a cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. If a client does not show up for their appointment and has not contacted the office at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full cost of the missed session. Always contact my office with scheduling issues to avoid this fee.

What is your payment policy?

Payment is charged before each session. Each client is required to maintain an updated and valid credit card on file. This policy increases commitment to therapy. I use the highly rated therapy designed software, Therapy Notes, for the billing of my private pay clients and Alma, a leader in insurance processing for my clients using insurance. Both are HIPAA compliant. Your privacy and security are of my utmost concern.

Do you accept Apple Pay, PayPal, Stripe, Venmo, or Zelle?

No. These billing methods are not HIPAA compliant.

Do you provide care coordination?

Yes. Upon your written request, I will coordinate with your chosen healthcare providers.
