A PRIVATE TELEHEALTH PRACTICE

About My Practice

Californiatherapy.com is home to my private psychotherapy practice. I have designed it to provide highly specialized teletherapy care by affording you greater flexibility and scheduling ease, for your therapy needs throughout California. My practice accepts both insurance and private pay allowing you greater accessibility for your mental healthcare.

Offering A Highly Specialized Concierge Approach to Patient Access & Care

My private teletherapy practice is designed to provide highly specialized care on a secure HIPAA compliant telehealth platform. Your privacy and comfort is my utmost concern. I offer a concierge approach to therapy by keeping a limited number of clients so that I may offer availability and access when needed, often providing same day appointments. I use an integrative approach for your care, and eliminate the one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Treatment plans are collaborative and designed specifically to meet your needs and preferences.

A Private Teletherapy Practice -
"Therapy Reimagined"

Teletherapy by design is convenient for clients whose schedules, location, or disability would prevent them from receiving the benefit of psychotherapy. Teletherapy has been around since the 1990s, and studies cited by the American Psychological Association have shown it to be as effective as in-person therapy. Additionally, the retention rates are higher in many cases, which assists treatment. Teletherapy is ideal for both teens and adults.

Over the past 15 years, a combination of diverse professional experience and extensive training have made me the therapist I am today. I specialize working with individual adults and teens. I am a published writer, lecturer and continue my research in the field to provide my clients the best care. I developed a new therapy approach for singles, Singular Systems Therapy, which was first published in Family Therapy Magazine in 2019. Additionally, I hold three certified specialities. I work from a place of genuine curiosity about my client’s lives and relationships, respecting each person’s path as unique. Though I am trained in a variety of therapies, I primarily work in narrative, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theory. I may also draw upon other similar or complimentary theoretical approaches to create a highly personalized treatment plan based on your needs and goals. Therapy is a safe place to explore and gain insight into your thoughts, emotions and experiences. We will work together and as you begin to heal you will become a stronger and healthier version of yourself.
